Hello and welcome!!
I’m Delaney—a long-time reader and first-time author. I created Sequels & Scribbles because books have shaped who I am today. Through devouring every book I can find and writing my second full-length novel, I’ve discovered that stories have an incredible power to transform perspectives, spark creativity, and unite people. That’s why I’m thrilled to share my literary journey and connect with fellow book lovers here.
A little bit about me!
- I’m from Nashville, TN, but somehow found myself in Austin, TX a few years ago and…just…never left.
- I read 194 books in 2024. My reading spans fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary/literary fiction, thrillers/mystery, romance, classics, horror, and (GASP!) nonfiction. Add me on Goodreads or Fable!
- I’m currently working on my second fantasy novel (the first one will never see the light of day), plus about 15,000 other ideas on the side.
- When I’m not reading, writing, or sleeping, you’ll find me playing soccer, running an absurd amount of miles, cuddling with my dogs, or rewatching Psych yet again.
